Strong, physical two-way kid. Broad and lean with room to fill out. Swing plane and extension give him a lot of margin for error. Bases-loaded triple and a couple of hard outs on day 2 of the tournament. Quality outing on the mound as well. Works from a high ¾ slot and fastball has good downhill action. Fastball sat sat 78-79, and he mixed in a solid 11/5 curveball for strikes. Works in with the fastball aggressively and that is the difference for him. Set the tone in the 1st striking out the side with all fastballs.
#11 Brandon Herter – OF 2018
Strong, compact athlete. Tough out in the box and a highlight reel in the outfield. Plays hard and can really run it down. Couple of diving plays including one on a line drive in front of him to end the game. Very aggressive footwork and solid arm. Almost threw a player out at 1B on a hard ground ball single to CF. Needs to stay in line more with the bat, but the ball comes off of his bat with solid life.

Long, lean athlete with more of an inside-out stroke. Aggressive and stays behind the ball very well. Two hits in two at bats on the second day of the tournament.

Long, lean RHP who can throw from both a 3/4 and high 3/4 slot. Works in and out effectively with the fastball and can throw his breaking ball from both slots as well. Fastball was 76-77 and he worked it up and down, in and out. Can sweep the breaking ball and get on top of it as well.

Tall, lean corner infielder with a short stroke. Longs arms and stands in up on the plate, but can stay inside well. Line drive/middle-of-the-field approach. Drove in two runs with a single and a double on the day. Bat speed plays slightly above average, but his approach makes him a tough out.
#24 Dawson Campbell – Inf 2018
Strong lower half. Stands in easy and works from open to square with rhythm. Very quick to the inner half. High quality at bats. Sees it well and stays through it. Nice barrel feel—really reacts to location well and makes adjustments with his hands. Two very well hit balls and two RBI.
#3 Mitchell Plane – SS 2018
Demonstrates a ton of athleticism defensively. Actions from head to toe are very quick. Feet are active and under control. Glove is clean. Exchange is very quick. Covers a ton of ground and takes charge in the infield. Offensively, he is easy in his stance. Athleticism should play with the bat, too, as he shortens up, stays in line with his feet, and stays on plane longer.

Athletic and creative in the infield. Nice angles and can really make the play on the run. Showed a ton of range to his backhand side and knows how to get rid of it. Line drive stroke and a fighter in his AB’s.

Big, physical kid with what looks like some serious hand strength. Good extension through contact. Covers all of the plate and more off of the outer half. Ball comes off of his bat with a lot of life. Only saw line drive opportunities, but there is a lot more in him.

Orlando took the mound with great presence and demeanor. He pitched with excellent tempo and controlled the game for 4 dominant innings. His arm action is clean and he repeats his delivery. His fastball topped at 81 and hi breaking ball showed tight spin and good depth. His fastball had late life and got on the hitters he faced. He fields his position well and shows promise on the mound. He there 4 innings giving up 0 runs on 0 hits with 4 strikeouts.
#33 Alejandro Soto – C 2019
Alejandro showed above average arm strength behind the plate. He back picked one of the only runners that got to second. His arm strength is a big tool for him. He is strong and did a good job of receiving and earning strikes for his pitcher. At the plate he was 1 for 2 with a double and 2 RBI.

Compact, athletic infielder with a short stroke, and aggressive approach at the plate. Good speed (4.40 on the turn from the right side), and very aggressive on the bases. Showed a good feel for the barrel with 2 hits in his first game of the tournament.

Athletic Rhp with high 3/4 arm slot. Gets some downhill plane on his fastball and pitches with excellent command. Shows the ability to throw all pitches for strikes and has a great feel for pitching. Managed the running game and commanded both sides of the plate with his fastball. Fastball topped at 79 and showed an out pitch with his braking ball at 63-65. 5ip, 4 hits, 4 k’s, 0 runs allowed
#15 Jonny Lutz – RF 2018
Flashed above average arm strength from deep right with an outfield assist to third. Wirey, athletic frame with projectability. Arm is biggest tool currently. 0-1 at the plate with a walk and an hbp. Showed good plate discipline and a balanced, consistent approach as a hitter.
#19 Garrett Bevacqua – 3B 2019
Had a great day at the plate going 3 for 3 with 2 singles a double an rbi and two runs scored. He showed a quiet load and direct bat path to contact. His simple, approach allowed him to get extended well and have consistent barrel contact. He showed the ability to hit the ball to all fields with some power to the pull side.
#62 Jesse Garcia – DH 2018
Went 1 for 3 with a big blast HR to left field. Had 3 rbi. Stayed in his legs well at the plate and was able to get good backspin on the baseball. Handled the inner half of the plate well and stayed balanced and kept good posture throughout his ab’s.
#10 Luke Garcia – UTL 2019
Strong build with potential to be very physical. High energy player with plus speed. Good bat speed with gap to gap pop potential. Speed! Covers ground in the outfield
#7 Jack Ritchie – C 2017
Lean athletic frame, short quick release, gains ground, blocks well, soft hands. Pop time low 2.00. Loose swing, quick hands, stays inside.
#10 Alec Jones – RHP 2018
Lean athletic frame with room to fill,high 3/4 delivery, good balance, gathers well, in line, compact delivery, works quick and pitches to contact. FB 81-84 with slight sink , CB 66-68, Change up 69-70 7 IP, 0 ER.
#12/26 Sammy Huber – POS 2017
Big body with room to add size and strength. Good hands and bat speed. Has the frame to add power. Best suited at 1st base
#27 Trevor Phillips – OF 2018
Trevor showed plus bat-speed with consistent hard contact at the plate. Athletic frame with explosive ability at the plate. Shows good instincts and reads in the outfield. Above average runner with the ability to steal bases.
#26 Ethan Clough – RHP 2018
Good lean body with room to add weight. Quick arm that topped out at 87mph. Fastball jumps out of his hand with good arm side action. Good breaking ball. Could benefit from adding a change up to the arsenal.
#7 Drew D’Ambra – 1B/LHP 2018
Long, lean, projectable frame. Looks the part at 1B. Good feel around the bag. Clean glove work and the footwork is easy, too. Knows how to battle through at-bats. 3 for 3 on his first day of the tournament and dealt with some adversity in the box in the process. Aggressive with an advanced barrel feel. Can fight pitches off showed some real maturity with both his approach and his swing. Ability to use the whole field with intent.
#18 Peyton Maple – RHP/3B 2018
Tall, lean, athletic RHP showed good tempo and really attacks the zone with the fastball. Only 75-77 mph, the delivery is sound and the arm works. Mixes speeds and locations effectively.

Big body, thick, balanced swing, extends through ball well, gap to gap hitter, good projectable power, goof feel behind the plate, receives well
#11 Brock Franks – SS 2018
At the plate he shows loose hands from a whippy path and good extension with good bat speed from the left side. At SS he showed loose quick actions and moves athletically side to side with good angles in a good postured position and a quick release. Holds ability to reads swings to increase his first step reads
#13 Andre Schweiser – 2B 2018
Lean build, compact swing, stays inside well, quick hands, competes in at bats, good line pop, above avg speed, good actions on infield, flash lateral range

Disciplined at the plate, hits to all fields, gap to gap power, good 2 strike approach, good speed, smart base runner
